My favourite ‘Things To Do In Richmond’

Richmond giving a taste of country and city life

Don’t give up on your dreams, or else your dreams will give up on you.

I’ve been meaning to visit Richmond Park for the longest time and it’s always ended up being one of those things that I’ve left for tomorrow and that tomorrow never came. Richmond is an hour away from where I live so I can’t even blame it on the distance.

Well, that’s changed now. II’ve been here 3 times in the space of one week.

You can take the girl out of the country (in my case village) but you can’t take the country out of the girl.

Richmond is a perfect blend of both the worlds. Since moving to London, I’ve been so immersed in city life that whenever I find glimpses of village life, the village kid in me jumps out of excitement.

Richmond is buzzing with so many activities. I feel there’s something for everyone here. One whole day is not enough to explore Richmond.

Richmond offering the best of both worlds

In today’s post I’m sharing my current favourite spots in Richmond.

Hanwell Zoo | A Journey into the Wild

Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.

Trip to Hanwell Zoo

It’s crazy that I want to travel the world when I haven’t explored my own backyard yet. Hoping to change this by taking baby steps. I first heard about ‘Hanwell Zoo’ on twitter and decided to check their website for more information.

I was shocked to learn that Hanwell Zoo is home to one of my favourite bird species. The curvy necks, long legs and a splash of pink  makes this bird one of the most exquisitely beautiful species on this planet. Can you guess?

My Goal Had To Be Realistic & Positive

My goal is to explore new places and that's exactly what i'm doing

My goal is to be happy in life and that happiness lies within me but I fail to recognise it.

I don’t believe in having new year resolutions because I always break them. I love having a goal or setting out targets for myself. They are termed as positive changes because the word itself motivates me to keep working hard and achieve my goal.

My dream is to travel and explore, what’s yours?

Explore Paris in 5 Hours: Places You Can See In Paris

Exploring Paris in 5 hours

Paris has been topping my European bucket list for the longest time. As soon as I received my British passport, I booked a day trip to Paris.

2017 started off with an adventure and it doesn’t seem to be stopping.  I never would have guessed that my dream of visiting Paris would come true. This year has truly been magical and I am so grateful for everything that has happened. What are you most grateful for this year?

Patience does pay off and hard work does bear fruit.

I was travelling with my friend and this being a day trip, we booked the 5:40 Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord. Paris greeted us with rape seed fields,  graffiti walls and cold weather.

My first trip to Paris was nothing less than an adventure. From getting lost for 3 hours (we had reached our destination but due to language barrier thought we had to get another train and that took us away from the main city) to getting soaked in rain, including my camera. But, even after losing valuable time, we still managed to fit in a lot of places.
