Our anxiety does not come from THINKING about the future but from WANTING to control it.
‘Anxiety’, such a popular word isn’t it? I’m sure most of you are familiar with anxiety related symptoms because according to guardian; – “Up to a third of the population will suffer from an anxiety disorder or panic attacks at some point in their life”.
My physiotherapist and swimming instructor mentioned that my body is stiff. I must relax and loosen up a bit. Now, I do tell my brain to relax but the communication doesn’t seem to be flowing well between my brain and body. Result –> my muscles are still tensed.
I don’t believe in having new year resolutions because I always break them. I love having a goal or setting out targets for myself. They are termed as positive changes because the word itself motivates me to keep working hard and achieve my goal.
My dream is to travel and explore, what’s yours?
This year has been full of life changing moments. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I’ve recently returned from a family vacation (we go to Goa every year. That’s where my dad side of the family is from).
This trip was definitely much more relaxing and enjoying compared to rest we’ve had so far.
Some of us might skip events because you think no one will find you interesting enough to talk to you. I’ve done it in the past and still do. I’ve missed out on some really cool networking events only because my confidence level was very low.
